The prof showed us the very first MTV program aka launch of MTV in the year 1981 today during Mass Media and Culture lecture.
I really love the very first song ever aired on MTV.
Totally apt to signal the start of the era of videos. Almost prophetic.
In 2004, the band apparently played live, so you get to see an old man singing this song and he is good! click
