Here we go, the end of term
This song is seriously stuck in my head. I love the chorus really much as well and is singing that almost everyday in any random situation. :) Singing/humming random tunes always show that I'm in a good mood.
Recently all I've been doing the most is studying, studying, studying, a little of zombie shooting at home, studying. I've cut down on social activities significantly since after my birthday, except that I'm celebrating a friend's birthday and the end of Korean 2 tomorrow and a senior have organised a steamboat dinner on Friday night at a his place for us. :) What a good start to a reading week of pure mugging till exams are over...
I really can't wait for my holiday to start.
Today is somewhat the end of term as I don't really have much going on tomorrow, so its time for those 'retrospection' post...
This semester has been a lot better than last semester. I'm more motivated, happier, more cheerful, complain less...generally can say I'm just back to normal and being the Cindy that I always was before all the hoohah of last year. :)
The start of the semester was slightly tiring when my mom was still weak from surgery and I have more chores to do, like laundry for the whole family. When my mom was hospitalized after the surgery, traveling to Tan Tock Seng daily after school was honestly draining and I realize how admirable those families that have to visit someone daily are. & I am so thankful that the whole thing went peacefully and nothing serious occurred.
Despite disappointments I have before, I realize God has been really kind to me. Right now I find it difficult to say why exactly I am saying this but looking at now and before and all these years, I am really grateful for whatever I'm blessed with now.
Time and time again I may feel frustrated or annoyed. I may feel afraid. I may be scared to backslide again. I may feel deeply hurt and heartbroken. I may feel extremely disappointed.
Yet no matter, I was never left alone...And that means enough.
okay, that's all for now, time to do my work!
