Cross fingers and pray really hard

I sincerely pray and hope that I can go there this year. OCIP Cambodia, please let it happen for me. cross fingers
I prayed before to God, asking him to let my parents be nice and acceptive of me going to impoverish places in the future. Lo & behold, they accepted it, partly thanks to our family doctor who was there to witness my dad giving his support months ago.

(trust me, my dad was always like," what if you get kidnapped and sold off?" which of course is a real concern but hello, I can get kidnapped even in France/UK/America etc and be sold off to maybe Amsterdam where prostitution and drugs are legalised. Ever watched the movie Kidnapped? They should have been worried about me being kidnapped by Mafia when I was in Italy, getting lost in Venice and such, right? Its the matter of being careful, making sure you aren't alone fully and be on alert, don't talk to strangers, don't give personal information to people and so on and so forth )

And so now I pray that I can get a to be part of OCIP Cambodia, that my application goes through nicely, that it isn't expensive at all (something which I can fork out myself with tuition money & savings from allowance), that the preparation, fundraising and all, goes well before the trip and that I will cope these things nicely with school, that the trip itself be really meaningful for the orphanage and for myself.

I don't know why I want this so much. I just really do for too long already (years?)

Anyway Kindness 2 is currently sponsoring a child in Thailand via Worldvision Singapore. =D So happy about that! I hope everyone else is as hyped up about it as me even if it was my idea. It would be nice if more and more people think about the less fortunate in other places as well as in Singapore. This principal applies to me. I need to remember all these things my whole life, no matter how tough remembering this may make my life to be. amen.

Have a good semester to all my uni friends!
