Day 19- Nicknames you have; why do you have them

hahaha at that question. I realise every nicknames I have means a lot to me because it reminds me of many things at different point of life. Here goes.

Dee. My sister call me deedee when I was really young, named after the Deedee from Dexter & His Laboratory cartoon. Also, Dee was my DOTA nickname in sec sch. -yes I played dota, I know what it is- Sometimes people still call me dee now. just sometimes.

Pikachu. From the very first Kindness 2 retreat in Dec 2006, my cellgroup started having pokemon names for each other. I can't remember why, but I remember that period of time my CG was the tightest and closest ever. We lost these nicknames along the way on top of losing other more important things. Sometimes I can't blame them too, since I felt all these before. :(
Anyway pikachu is one of my favorite Japanese cartoon character as well.

Chang/changsy/changchang. I have loads of variations for my surname. I'm being called all these during JC days, and still called this now by friends from JC. Started because there was another Cindy in class and choir, so to make life easier, I'm being called changchang throughout my two years in AJC.

Pork/Pig/Porky/Porkpork- Courtesy to the bestie. I don't know why he wants me to be a dead non-halal animal.
Beisidi- During my bestie's ORD ceremony, he saw a recruit with a nametag that says B.S.Tee, which makes him thought of me and he wanted to laugh at that guy's name. Ever since then, he call me beisidi in an attempt to chinese-fied the term bestie.

I have to post this picture up because I think this is the first time I take a picture with Ericson after knowing him since I first came to church. HAHA. & I find it funny when alberta ask him to smile for the photo and say to him," see, this is a picture you will keep for life."
