Blackberry looks sweet

I was just looking at phones and such since I have to re-contract next year and can consider getting a new phone.
Currently am considering Blackberry curve 9300 which cost 98bucks only if I re-contract my current youth plan...

Unlike iphone whereby you have to get their full plans that cost close to 40bucks per month, BB have separate BIS plans as value-added service on top of the mobile phone plan, which can cost as low as $5 for BIS social plan: 1GB data plan meant for instant messaging and social networking only or $10 BIS value plan for 1GB data meant for email and instant messaging only.
surfing the internet is only available for these two plans if there's wifi, aka no internet surfing actually.

sounds great isn't it, since I have no need to surf the net on-the-go, and being able to tweet/fb anytime and BBM with those oversea BB users (my dearest sammy sam sam and linglingling) sounds awesome...1GB is hard to exceed right?

can BB's users enlighten me!
I'm right to say that the separate plans works such that, let say my current phone plan cost 25bucks per month, with the BIS social plan, it only adds 5bucks to my bill? something like that?
Is BB really that good?

i'm such a noob. haha.
should be working on my essay now~

  1. If i remember correctly BB plans arent as cheap as u think. A bundled plan with calls/sms/data should cost about the same as normal 3G data plan, if not more ex. I dun recall it being cheap.

Do check to make sure you are sure of its low cost/month.
