Student Exchange application

I find it really ironic to have spent time looking at other options for universities to go to for exchange like those in Hong Kong and Poland, only to realize upon application that the only universities I can apply to are those in South Korea.

First Choice: Korea University
Second Choice: Seoul National University

Am really hoping to get into KU, definitely much more than SNU. That is despite knowing that Ban Ki-Moon (the 8th and current Secretary-General of United Nations) as well as some of the presidents of South Korea graduated from SNU. I have so many sociology modules taught in English to choose from for KU, student life seem to be more vibrant there especially with their sporting rivalry against Yonsei University that result in the annual Ko-Yo-Jeon sporting events (imagine wearing red to show school pride against the blue Yonsei peeps and watch ice hockey or something) and KU's Liberal Arts building, where my major is under there, is like a cathedral. 40% of the students there are international students, they have a buddy program for international students to be paired with a Korean student each and I guess they are friendly towards foreigners as shown by how easy it is for me to find information in English from their school website. These are all major plus points (:

Honestly can't wait for SEP! Cross fingers and pray hard that all goes well. (:
화이팅! 재미있는 경험하고 싶은데 고료대학교에 갈 거에요. ^^
