Lomography

I think my very first roll of film from the Mini Diana is not very good. I guess such things require experience, learning from mistakes and all. Something like playing the same song over and over again on the piano. It's a tad pricey to develop the film I realize, so I'm staying away from lomography for awhile till holiday starts.

But here are some of the pictures I kinda like...

Realize I like to play around with contrast, but sigh, I can spot many blahs in the 6 pictures up there. Lighting is such a bitch. I guess the whole thing about lomo is not to be perfect and just take pictures without thinking, but I wished I could correct certain things still.
However I'm feeling quite contented with my first attempt, and slightly more motivated to really improve the next time I buy a roll of film (and get a mini DSLR for exchange in Korea with part of the award given to me if possible)

Today I tried the chords that I've memorized on Byron's guitar and felt a real difference. Realize his guitar cost more than $1k, which makes me felt the same kind of thrill when I get to play a expensive grand piano. Played around with the ukulele at home too and I now find a tool of escapism into the cheerful palm tree island of happy music. :) Life's good, albeit the work I have to do and the flu/cough I'm trying to recover from
