Walk.Art.Run.Smiles

spidey! With great power comes great responsibility,
Isn't the sand art cute. Now all that's left is finding a perfect frame eventually and someone is expected to hang this in Australia and be reminded of a certain allegiance to me, not to fool around there etc. okay I just made that up, but I'm quite serious (:

It's already the 2nd week of summer break. Have decided to have a bit of update because the next time a long one comes, it would be after my visit to Cambodia.
Summer is truly summer, the freaking highest daily temperature reaches 35. Cambodia is going to be worse at 38. sigh

Recently I went to Chinatown (since years). Chose the wrong day to go I feel, cos it was 1st of May but I do have some nice pictures to share. I'm such a tourist

Nonetheless, still managed to visit the ham ji peng (I can't spell hokkien words for nuts) stall at Maxwell. awesome. :)

Recently went to Biennale at Singapore Arts Museum with Wanyi. Honestly felt that the actual exhibitions in SAM is better than the Biennale installations... Still visiting museums once in a while is really relaxing

Something to do with femininity and masculinity. Personally don't find it inspiring...
Love this though. This is an actual room that you can view from a mirror. Its about the monotonicity of corporate life. (spot the hint of violence somewhere in this picture?)
Can't remember what's this. It moves periodically and hit the Javanese drumbeats
Walking Buddha
Suppose to represent the solar system: sun, moving shadows, audience as celestial bodies. Don't buy that but still like the atmosphere created by the shadows

Dessert at Food For Thought. I'm a true blue dessert fan. Think I enjoyed my dessert and dark chocolate milkshake more so than Wanyi. =p
love the slogan! Would consider buying a shirt from there with the slogan
Berry - something crumble. I love it~
So to kill off the calories from the above dessert, as well as udders and many other junk I ate recently, the 5k Nike Goddess Run came at an apt time. In preparation for the run I ran 3.6k in a gym and ran bits at the park near my place, but still 5k was terrible to me. Terrible because I didn't complete it running everything but gave up many times by taking brief moments of walking. That's actually bad and Clarissa had to keep asking me to stop giving up. hahahah. She's awesome, 5k is probably a joke to her. However we still manage to complete the 5km run in 41min, satisfactory to me considering how I get to skip NAFA my whole life.

During the run itself I honestly question why I even sign up for it. However post-run event was great! They gave out flowers, there's buffet with eclairs and tarts, ice-cream and free massage. & I got a nice looking trophy as a souvenir for completing the run. (: wow. I don't mind joining another 5k next time and be even more prepared for it. Maybe 10k is even possible (and I know Nike 10k has awesome race pack?)

My race buddy! (after the run)
Still have time to fool around = still fine after running
Sunset at Marina Barrage was really pretty.

:)
Anyway saw this that day:

So do people have LDR because they have commitment issues? hahaha. sounds real enough

After I'm done making use of free massage service there, washed up and left Marina Barrage to Cityhall cos a friend was nice enough to accompany me to grab some food, as well as share a drink at TCC.

happy me at TCC
Just went to Jurong Birdpark today with the Korean class Kaki, but I shall leave that to some other day. :)
Source Code tomorrow! (late is better than never) Kinda excited to watch it I don't know why. Maybe because Jake Gyllenhaal is the lead. Handsome guy (:
