am glad now

This is what life is about. :)

Recently for quite a while, I was feeling unsatisfied with how I still aren't affirmed with my choice and was seriously doubting and questioning my major, as well as everything else on offer within FASS and feeling lethargic.

Yet as this study week passed by, I realise I actually do love my sociology modules. Mass Media is just bearable (it's not very sociological anyway) but I really like Gender studies and the 'anthropological' way of looking at ourselves, our social relation with others and the gender beliefs that's salient, quietly working in the background and normally not seen by people. What's making me thrilled is knowing that this is just one thing that's working behind-the-scenes in our society...there's definitely other social forces at work which means more joy in the future as I crawl my way through studying all that.

Just picturing lines connecting from one thing to the other in a big line diagram call Society where we live in, is enough to make me go yay. wheeee.

Even if I still have no concrete plans as to what I should do with it in the future, I think I'm somewhat satisfied now. Come to think of it, very very very few people know my true reason for choosing this major. I can count them using one palm. :)

On a totally random side note, I am craving for ice-cream and at the same time, upset that the Belgian chocolates that some friends gave me for my birthday, which I only opened 3 days ago, are all gone. WHO ATE MY CHOCOLATES!!!!!! must be my dad... =[
I am so upset now, but...I have a Swensen Ice-cream buffet to look forward to after my last paper! lalala~
