WalaWala + FoodHunt 2011

I LOVE SLEEPOVERS (because I don't have a curfew)

Went to school in the afternoon for King Lear screening in the library theatrette, something which I didn't expect myself to do with my time. Yet seeing how I'm reading the play really slowly and painfully, I decided to spare 3 hours watching instead. After watching, I think I can appreciate the textual play better and feel strong catharsis towards it. Honestly think its a better play than Othello and can relate with the themes in King Lear better.
PLAYS OUGHT TO BE WATCH, not read. =[

Met Nate and went over to his house to wait for Vivienne in the evening. I always enjoy reading the random quotes around his house, mostly Christian-related. & to kill time, he throw me his Mom's devotion material which title is something like," Lies that Women believes", saying I need it. -.-

So dinner was at Holland Village after Vivienne came over. Really love Holland V at night, we walk around almost the whole place after dinner and I grab a cup of gelato from De Paulo Cafe. yumyum, people should seriously try their gelato especially if they serve tiramisu (they go by season). De Paulo is located some stores down from Daily Scoop.

Entered Walawala at 9 plus, me with my Hoegaarden white, Vivienne with her asahi and Nathan with his Erdinger. Come to think of it, I should had just bought Stellar Artois which is slightly cheaper and sweeter and it's still my fave for now. And so we sat in Walawala listening to The Common People all the way till 12am plus till we were too tired and head back to Nate's place to sleep. We were given his room and poor Nathan has to sleep at his sister's room. =D

Woke up at 745 and reach school at 830 for FoodHunt with Nate's churchie Joel joining us. Joeltian aka farmertian happens to be our driver for the day and so we eat at various places for the whole day from 930 till 5pm, from West to East.
I can't take in any food. I may be able to go without breakfast tomorrow and still not be hungry till lunch.
Eat eat eat, nom nom nom.

I hope I can go Walawala again, or Timbre, to just listen to band and drink this time, Stellar Artois. Why do I have curfew usually... :(
The Common People were really entertaining and good. Love the vocalist's voice. They played various mainstream hits as well as all-time favorites like Wonderwall by Oasis, It's my Life by Bon Jovi etc
Another thing I would like to do next time if I sleepover at other people's place is to go for Ladies Night/Mambo. I love those oldies, so cute. Okay I sound like a deprived girl now.

Anyway I am really impressed with WorldVision. VERY impressed in fact. They are willing to take time off to speak to me personally just to introduce a program they have to me. Really happy with the email I received from them and now I am so glad that Kindness 2 is sponsoring a child through them. Feels like we make the right choice, right organisation. Sadly I don't exactly have the luxury of time this coming month to meet them...

okay, time to catch up on work and write out my Korean talkshow/skit script. This language is half-killing me but I love it so much, I'm willing to let it kill me some more. Often tell myself, at least Korean is easier than Chinese. Much easier. If I can survive up to 15 years of Chinese lessons, I'm sure I can go through at least 2 years of Korean.
