Really long post on my Recess week so far

Beach. Sun/Rain. Sand. Kindness2
Recess week been great so far. Not as great as a real holiday when the semester ends, but good enough for a short break.

Spent the Saturday at Sentosa with K2 building sandcastles, looking at people surfing at wavehouse and just drink beer eat snacks. :) Going there vastly reminded me of Orientation and camps... I secretly actually really like tanning and playing with clean sand. Miss the time when I had time to just tan and swim with wanyi at the pool, something which I don't have time for this semester. Which also explain why I look fairer this year.
Anyway the guys build a castle which consist of a waterfall. How cooool. (I was trying to make a penguin, which ended up not looking as cute as the one 3508 built at the end of JC1) Bert done a post on the day, so head over here to read it.

Monday was my attempt to get a new phone, only to realise that I still have a month to go before I can switch to starhub. Hope my current phone last till then...its getting more pissy now. Had steamboat at night with 15 other people from school. During steamboat-ing, Vivienne was acting very much like a mother, constantly scooping food and refilling our bowls. The most funny part was when xiu was trying to introduce and tell me about someone she knows to me, vivienne quickly said," Before you get to meet him, mommy must see whether he's good first. If he's not goood, mommy opposed!" This went on while xiu was defending her friend, trying to prove that he's a really good guy and how he might fit my criteria while I was trying hard not to choke on my food from laughter. <3

Tuesday was movie date (Just Go With It) with jing, waner and wanyi. :) A pity that we didn't have time to properly catch-up. Next time we meet shall be in May...Project meeting went well too!

Spent the morning studying at Wanyi's place and did some preparation for Korean oral test with friends from Korean class at Bukit Batok in the afternoon.

Will be having lunch at Kim's tomorrow (i love that restaurant!) and studying at Cherie's place. :)

I think I haven't been this detailed on my blog for a long time. =p Just show how I'm actually procrastinating studying now.

This small excerpt is meant to raise awareness of what's going on in the world. My part to cultivate civic mindedness: What's up with the wave of pro-democracy uprising across Middle-east...You should see the size of the bullets the military used on the protesters in Libya. =(
Look at this to know what's going on in the nutshell. Will the world ever get better?
